The Sunday Sessions


5 week block of theme dedicated classes
12 – 1:30pm Sundays
Various and guest teachers.

Each block of classes will address different themes and things, be it body parts, positions, energy centres, mindfulness, mantras or ways of thinking.

YIN YOGA with Dee Lilly ( On-going) Every second weekend. On Sunday’s as follows:

Yin is a slow & meditative style, mainly seated and supported postures for the lower body, held for up to 5 minutes or more.

The focus is on strengthening connective tissues- ligaments, tendons, and releasing tight fascia; improving circulation and increasing mobility in the joints.

It works on the subtle energetic body, improving the flow of ‘Chi’, by stimulating and clearing meridians.

This meditative approach also cultivates inner stillness and patience.

It’s a perfect compliment to any Yang yoga practice such as Astanga, or for anyone simply needing to ‘slow down’…
