Intro to Ashtanga Courses 2015

Ashtanga yoga involves a steady and persistent breath known as Ujaii and a foundational set of flowing sequences called the Sun Salutations. Book into a 4 day Introductory course and come and experience this amazing form of yoga for yourself.

Introductory Course – 4 day intensive. $60 / $50 student
Saturday to Tuesday:

Saturday 12:30 – 2:15pm — Introduction to the practice and the ‘Ujaii breath’ and Sun Salutes A and B

Sunday 10:00 – 11:30am —  Further work on the practice, looking at the standing poses. Guided meditation and rest.

Monday 6:00 – 7pm— Be a part of the regular Mysore class, assisted by your course teacher.

Tuesday 6:00 – 7:30pm – Be a part of the regular Mysore class, followed by a short talk on yoga philosophy and Qu and An about yoga and the studio.
