Hatha classes are given in a slow and steady manner, with a focus on taking time with careful placement of the body and attention to breath.
At times we’ll use combining breath with movement known as ‘vinyasa’, an empowering tool for mindfulness.
You’ll find a combination of strength based and gentle positions, as well as stretching, balancing, meditation and rest.

These sessions are designed to help you improve movement, release tension and relax both body and mind – all from the safety and comfort of a chair.
This class is ideal for beginners and those managing limited mobility.
In Yin Yoga classes you’ll be encouraged to support your body with props and blankets, and hold each pose for an extended period of time.
This can be deeply relaxing.
Long held tensions are encouraged to shift as you focus on maintaining stillness.
Yin can be ideal after a busy day to help you settle and still.
These classes explore the fundamentals of the Ashtanga sequence.
Expect continuous movement and dynamic poses.
You’ll need to be agile, with a good range of movement, although adaptations and modifications are offered.
Perfect for when you want a powerful and challenging class.
Ideal for those days where time is limited.
Enjoy all the benefits of a regular yoga class, but in much less time!
These are collections where every class is woven around a central theme or idea – explored from many angles, over several days.
It’s an opportunity to go a little deeper and give one idea your full attention – and notice what starts to shift when you do.
Every Focus Week is different, each one a new theme or idea.
They all live in the Content Library, so you can return to them as many times as you like – whenever that particular theme is calling to you.
A chance to learn more about the philosophy that underpins yoga.
There is no movement in these classes. It’s theory based and offers you the opportunity to explore the 8 limbs of yoga and how to implement these into our everyday lives.
These classes will be live zoomed every week, and the recording added to your Content Library.
Audio recordings of our weekly live zoomed meditation and pranayama classes will be added to your Content Library.
These sessions are an opportunity to be guided through yoga breath techniques (pranayama) and meditation, use of bhavana (imagery) and setting positive intentions.
Our online yoga community gathers together every month to enjoy a LIVE Zoom catch-up with Katie. These are an opportunity to ask questions, meet other online yogis and connect together in real time.
You can, in fact an online practice may be the perfect place to start. You’ll be in the privacy of your own home and can practice at a pace that suits you.
Having a qualified instructor guiding you is key, and you’ll find Katie will give modifications and adaptations for all poses, and encourage you to do what feels safe and right for you.
Depending on your level of mobility, you may like to start with Chair Yoga and see how you go.

A yoga mat would be great. A towel or blanket and cushion are good to have on hand if needed.
You’ll need a sturdy chair (with no arms) for the chair yoga classes.
It would be lovely to have a quiet private space where you won’t be interrupted.
Yes, if you do what is safe for you.
You’ll need to move/shift very carefully in relation to your injury. Sit in a chair or use bolsters and pillows for any sitting poses. Steady yourself by a wall for any standing postures.
Katie will give modifications and adaptations in each class, and you are welcome to contact us if you have a specific question and want some advice.
